several nirvana questions

does anyone know the exact sales(or close to them)for the following:
their box set-with the lights out
the best of the box-sliver
the s/t nirvana hits thingy

correct me if i am wrong but none of them did exceptional right?i think the s/t thing may have went platinum.now i realize alot of grts hits type packages dont sell that well nowadays and it only had one new song on it however the dumb guns and roses hits thingy has sold like 3 million copys like who would even buy that and like the replacements one that just came out didnt even chart in the top 100 as well as the pixies one from like 2 yrs ago.like the beatles number 1s sold several times platinum i think like around 8 million not sure tho but quite up there.if there will be more nirvana releases down the road ten, twenty, thirty years from now do you think they may have a selling resurgency or each one sell less and less.what happened to all the nirvana fans unless they didnt have as many hardcore fans as many assumed and just had hardcore teen spirit fans.

if nirvana were still around or had already disbanded by this yr 2006 but had released several more studio albums do you think they would have sold good like nevermind -over 10 million or did more like in utero numbers-around 4 million or would have sold less each album out and been like not as mainstream.do you think the sucess of nevermind was kinda a fluke and wouldnt have happened again because mass audience wouldnt have understood and or gotten it.do you think that unlike most other 90s artists they would still be selling a ton of records and maybe the whole limp bizkit explosion would have never took off.

really where in the world or the states or both?

box sets generally dont sell alot cos of the costs and does each disc count as a unit like they do in double discs or the entire box count as a unit?
