I don't think I've heard Fall Out Boy, but I did watch the Mr. Brightside video for Eric Roberts being dirty. Also, when I've boozed it up enough, I have been known to dance to The Killers but I don't think I would go out of my way to put either out if they were on fire.

I was going to mention that, but personally I don't even agree. Mormons in rock are interesting though, like Ginges in rock - very rare.

I do not like The Killers nor the majority of the emo bands.

But I think that what Brandon Flowers said is relevant. He is thinking and questionning about the futur of music. A lot of teenagers who are for certain future musicians listen to this kind of music and will be influenced by it.

Is it a good thing? I don't know! Even if I don't like emo, I think that each artistic movement has a reason to exist. It's often a kind of revolt against the previous movement. Perhaps the futur of music will be a kind of revolt against emo. Perhaps music of the futur is going to be emo-influenced. I don't see what's wrong with this even if I don't like emo.
