The Breeders Celebrate Birthday With Fetus Cake

That is a pretty ****ing awesome cake.

I just had Last Splash on in my car for like 2 days straight, and I spend about a quarter of my workday in my car, so that is a lot of Breeders. I really love that album and I was thinking as I listened to it that I sort of regret never having heard Pod. What's that about?

"sigh.." yup. i agree with turing. Last Splash is good. seeing The Breeders in their prime was good. we are agreeing lately turing.

Last Splash is perfection to me, but Pod is also an amazing album. Iris is my favorite.

We probably agree on all sorts of things! This is a good one to agree on, though. Last Splash reminds me of living with my brother's dad in a run down house on the wrong side of the tracks in the giant metropolis of Galt, CA. I listened to it every night to go to sleep for like 2 months, I think. It's on my short list of desert island albums, really, coz I can hardly imagine getting tired of it.

I think that I may go download the rest of their albums based on your recommendations, Prude. Which means if I don't like them and I am traumatized in some way, it will be entirely your fault.
