Phenominal song.
By the way: River, California, All I Want, Little Green, Carey, This Flight Tonight (all those off Blue, my "favourite album ever"), Refuge of the Roads, Coyote, You Turn Me On (I'm A Radio), Free Man In Paris are all excellent going somewhere songs, all by the fantastic Joni Mitchell.
Oh, and: Free Money and Birdland (good God, yes) by Patti Smith are great.
Elton John's Rocket Man (And I Think It's Going To Be A Long, Long Time). "She packed my bags... pre-flight." Hahaha.
Isobel Campbell & Mark Branegan's Ballad of the Broken Seas is a pretty lonesome travelling record for the most part
Feist's Intuition and Mushaboom
Pink Floyd's Brain Damage
Vashti Bunyan's Jog Along Bess
The White Stripes' Hotel Yorba
Paul Simon's Graceland and Under African Skies
Bjork's The Anchor Song
Nico's The Fairest of the Seasons

| | | shit this tell me what a dark person I am because when I saw this thread I can only think of songs where someone is going to die. The only place I can think of them leaving is life. Well what can I say, I like kill yourself music. |
