Gorillaz to tour North America this fall

As expected, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett will bring their acclaimed musical project Gorillaz back to North America later this year for a more extensive round of touring. Following up a headlining appearance at the California based Coachella Music Festival in April, the band — which features Albarn, former Clash members Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, and legendary singer Bobby Womack among others — will launch the 20-date tour on October 3rd in Montreal. Though exact stops have yet to be announced, an issued press release also confirms an October 8th date at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
