i surprisingly really like this album. different. prog rock. this is one of the few albums that i dont listen to for the voice or lyrics, but the soundscape. madm did a great job setting the ambience for this record.

I don't know CL tends to go for up and coming musicians in other potential members

MADM is more down and out.

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWT

The opening track is really long winded, it's gotten into ambient piano and ahhhhhhhhhhh's.

its like NIN without the good bits.

in father's grave they forgot to replace the chord strumming with a proper riff

and i think the vocals of the homeless man she found on the street should probs have been switched out for josh homme or smthg

maybe he wasn't available.

I bet meat loaf was free.

Hopefully next time she'll ask Linda Perry to help her too. that way she'll be failing at the same level as CL, rather than at unsigned level.

She only released this because Hole re-appeared. Like when CL released hers in 2k4. This is why it benefits Hole to release a follow up next april. That way MADM will have no time to write and perfect a follow up of terrible songs to release simultaneously, or at least have no time to get Eric coherent enough from his coke abuse to play guitar.

speaking of which, why is it that eric looks like skeletor?

I'm listening to the key now. it reminds me of babes in toyland. the band that nobody liked in 1992. in 2010.

I'd buy it if the packages had a sash in them...

I vehemently disagree. It's atmospheric, haunting and builds to a mighty height before descending into a lush vocally melodic, post-orgasmic chill.

It's easily my favourite album of the year so far. I have 2 copies (Standard and UK Limited Edition) thus far. The UK edition with the 2 bonus tracks is fantastic. 22 Below (Piano Version) is a very dark gothic number and works very well especially with the added Brody Dalle backing vocals. Whispers and Potions is seriously cute. I await my OOOM package now.

Are you possibly able to upload both 22 Below ( Piano ) & Whispers & Potions ?

Thank you if this is possible
