Is anybody eles tired of metal bands with scary sounding names. Disturbed,death before dishonor,god dethroned,megadeth, death brigade, everytime i die,as i lay dying,death to smoochy....some of these are real names of band.others I just made up.please make the trend end....

I don't like Lemmy. I like hair metal, NWOBHM, some goth metal, but very little turns me on after the mid 90s? Industrial type stuff is fine when it's goffixspookie, but I don't like the gargling blood vocal sound. YAWN. Don't you have parents to annoy? Oh wait, you aren't actually 13 any more.

As far as names go, I don't mind a bit of gross, but the non-ironic US approach to outrageous band names leaves me cold. Though I did form a "metal happening" with my muso friend Chris, called Corpse Mutilator. His main Master's composition was a video of him smashing a piano with a sledgehammer.
