| I saw her perform on Ellen one day. I was really mostly impressed by her performance, although the song was good. She performed Black Horse and the Cherry Tree and at the beginning she recorded the little background "woo ooo" in her mike and looped it over and over while she sang the song, played the guitar, messed with some electrical contraption at her feet AND played a tambourine with her feet. That's skillz. I bet she would be good live. I wouldn't call the song I heard folky, it was pretty poppy, but I don't know about the rest of the album. |
