it says on that site it's Bootsy Collins from Parliament-Funkadelic...which explains anthony kiedis's look in the big white long fur coat

actually i thought he looked more like iggy pop than bowie

i think that it's Tom Petty. He always wore top hats and dressed like that. I'm not 100% sure though.

They missed out Marilyn Manson, the Personal Jesus video. But its only in the RHCP for like 3 or 4 seconds

I just thought it a bit insensitive, but maybe I am hypercritical.
For some reason, to me, it'd have been different if they'd have just mocked a concert and not unplugged. But I am hypersensitive.

i thought it was a sweet tribute.

a little bit. it seemed too obvious what they were re-enacting.. but i suppose the idea was to be able to recognize who they were.

something a little more subtle for nirvana would have sufficed though.
