I'm going to see the Flaming Lips on Sunday. I'm so pumped, it'll be my first time getting to see one of their shows. Who has seen them live before?

They haven't had a hit since,"she don't use jelly" 15 years ago. I saw them when they opened for CANDLEBOX in the 90s....

my husband went to see them a couple of weeks ago with built to spill at an outdoor venue. he said it was great. and so many people were caught up in traffic that it was practically empty for built to spill. i was in CA....very jealous.

i saw them maybe 5 years ago. i haven't liked their albums for listening since yoshimi but they do put on quite a performance

seeing the flaming lips is like going to a party that's celebrating the very end of everything. it is excessively beautiful and funny and scary and just.... fucking magical. everyone should see them.
