sorry, i meant brandon flowers.

perhaps i'm showing great ignorance, and mormonism isn't something you can convert too. i'll have to look into it. i don't know religion, i just know people.

often i'll watch music videos on youtube and imagine them with me as the star and how cool everybody would think i am
not 20 minutes ago i was watching the killers video for "smile like you mean it" and imagining myself in that suit, as the ghostly presense in all those scenes.
then i went to a live, acoustic version. brandon isn't much older than me and usually i don't go for young guys. but he has such a beautiful face i can't help having a bit of a crush on him.
he introduced the song in such a gentle and shy way.

i started crying, and even got out of the chair and lay on the floor so i could go all out.
it made me sad what a mean-spirited sleaze i've become.

i've wrestled for this for a long time. i like to fuck around, but i don't have to share details constantly. as for my nasty streak, i don't know. if i'm not being mean, i have nothing to say.

i don't care anymore. when i think about the kind of man brandon is (from what i can tell anyway, he might be a dick in person) and the kind of man i am, it makes me want to cry all over again.

i will convert to mormonism, and hopefully religion will give me some direction.
and i'll only be gentle from now on. also, i won't feel as though shyness is a something i have to overcome.

luckily brandon has really good taste in music. i know he likes pet shop boys and U2, and probably other good stuff. i also like the way he dresses and his hair.

i'm probably not even going to post here anymore, because it nurtures all my worst traits.
as somebody who is naturally kind of slutty, the last thing i need is to be recieving accolades for my behaviour.

When I said I like his hair, I meant his when it's short. Although I still like it longer.
He reminds me of that photo of Rimbaud everybody uses to show off. It's sort of the one that started everything, because when Patti Smith worked at a the piss factory, she bought a Rimbaud book on her lunch break and was so moved by the picture she had to go beat off, even though Dot Hook was in the next stall taking a shit, and causing a right stink. Catholics like their boiled dinners.

I don't like Rimbaud because first of all I just don't like poetry that much. But if I did, I'd be alienated by the fact he's been adopted by the cool kids like Bob, Patti, Jim Morrison and jack-asses like Dave Nararro and Flea who don't read poetry but who read bios of Bob, Patti, Jim Morrison.
He's really no comfort anymore. Brandon has a nicer face, and the way he sings means a lot to me. He sings in a way that could keep you warm in a frigid train station or hostile environment.

I've seen so many hot Mormons. Are they allowed to drink tea? Sometimes I want to invite them in. I know a guy who's had a fair run of luck with door knocker action - I think Mormgaze have secretly put his name on some sort of circuit. Well, he's had more than two, and I'm jealous.
