*Hole* songs that tug on your heartstrings

The majority do not. However, here is a list that I have cried at least once while hearing it. Not every time. Just once. Anyone else?

I'm going to start with Malibu, I cried every time I heard it until I saw the music video . . .

Big weepers include:

sugar coma and boys on the radio , northern star , dying , ( I'm just noticing these are all from CS ) the very end of Reasons to be Beautiful , He Hit Me , Chad , Valerie loves me , The only rape I know , Asking for it with Kurt , and although this doesn't count, Nirvana's Pennyroyal Tea ( In Utero version ) because she sings backround in it, and it is quite sad because she just sounds so happy to be there with him and be a part of his recording. And Love's solo "Uncool".

If you don't like this thread, don't respond to it. Thank you.

malibu and they just played in on the radio.

they are playing the bands that have played edgefest over teh 20 years they've had them...they talked about how great hole's perfomance was even though it rained all day.

i cranked the volume and i heard office doors around mine get shut.

suckas!

Oh wow, I just got a slight chill thinking about 1995's Old Age. I'm going to listen to it now. Great choice.

I don't think doll parts is cheesy at all. For a man or a woman. The song is raw and very emotional. So far it looks like almost everyone has said Northern Star. Especially the live version is like wow . . .

I definetly remember crying to "Dying" a few years ago during a very painful break up.

Remember, you promised me. I'm dying, i'm dying please. I want to, I need to be under your skin. And now I understand you leave with everything, you leave with everything I am

courtney's voice is too gross for me to ever cry to it.

except that live version of sugar coma where she cries while she tries to sing. that was a sad one.

otherwise, i just think cigarettes, booze, & for some reason, pussy, whenever i hear her sing.

or it could be possible that i just don't have heart strings, i don't know.

Um, I think Sugar Coma is the saddest one for me.

I'm suprised people sad Malibu simply because even though there is some saddness to it, overall I think of it as a song of getting over things

The first time i Heard Old age properly was on my 14th birthday and my parents split up. It's always been a tear jerker for me.

Your a male. That might explain it. My boyfriend had the same reaction. Why the fuck are you crying over a song Courtney Love sings?

The end of reasons to be beautiful ( cry almost every time )

Hey, you were right
Named a star for your eyes
Did you freeze?
Did you weep?
Turn to gold, baby, sleep

Hey, honey mine
I was there all the time
And I weep
At your feet
And it rains and rains

Is..
No...

fuck. anyway to explain Malibu is many are relating to it. Either themselves or loved ones. Can't get past it.
