I saw Ministry and RevCo last night...yawnfest.

Revolting Cocks opened with Beers, Steers, and Queers, one of their biggest songs and it was very slow and the words were all messed up. It was a shitty way to open the show with the "hit". They did get better as the set progressed but overall, I expected so much more.

Ministry spent the first half of their set with back to back new songs, that no one cared about and the sound was so muddled and loud that you couldn't make out when a song eneded and a new song started. I know Al's all political but the last tour was all about George Bush and this one had the same antics. I got sick of seeing his face on the screens. We know he's evil...time to write a song about something else.

I couldn't deal with it anymore and left before NWO, Thieves, Jesus Built My Hotrod...all the songs you go to hear.

Well, at least I didn't have to pay for the tix.

I just bought my ticket for the show.

Usually, even when everyone is complaining about their tour, I have a blast. I hope this is the same way. I'd be really fucking crushed if it sucked. I'm going to have to do it sober too, as the boyfriend and I have stopped drinking.

you know, i'm sure once they started the older stuff it would have been fine, i just couldn't bear anymore....it was such a messy show with the sound and the volume and the new stuff isn't really my thing.

maybe i should have drank more?
