m83 were pretty bad, may i say?
i mean it's probably not the right place and time to see them (in a stadium in full daylight) but still.... i dont like them actually so im not the right person to ask (but i guess they were better than on record. totally different. some songs were even nice but overally very boring)

i've seen them twice but always in a small club and i loved them, in fact i prefer them live to on record.

i can't see them going over well in a stadium during the day though.

not a gig, but still, if anyone's into djs - just came back from a SebastiAn dj set. it was so random in his choices and everything but i loved it. my friends tell me his set at sonar was better, though. (and i still prefer other people from ed banger)

I'm going to see Sonic Youth next Tuesday, then Future of the Left on July 15.

Eagles of Death Metal @ Brixton Academy (Weds 24 June)
-Not a good show, the Academy is notoriously inconsistent with its sound quality and the sound for this show was awful
-The atmosphere was lacklustre as the place was half full.
-I have seen them quite a few times and they usually put on a good, fun rock show but it seemed like they were going through the motions.
-I must have been bored cos i went to the bar a bunch of times, went out for a smoke, and had a better time in the pub beforehand and the late-night drinking afterwards, than i did at the show!

Disappointing!!
