| | | The Vaselines to Tour North America Scottish twee originals the Vaselines have really maintained their cult over the last two decades. As we reported last week, Sub Pop is gearing up to release pretty much anything the band ever did near a tape recorder as a deluxe two-CD/three-LP set called Enter the Vaselines on May 5.
And now the band is gearing up to tour North America. Even though they played a few American shows last summer, this is still a fairly huge deal, especially given that they'll play relatively small venues. After that quick American trip ends, they'll play the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona.
Dates:
05-10 Los Angeles, CA - El Rey Theater
05-11 San Francisco, CA - Bimbo's
05-12 Seattle, WA - Neumos
05-13 Portland, OR - Doug Fir Lounge
05-15 Toronto, Ontario - Lee's Palace
05-16 Chicago, IL - Metro
05-18 Brooklyn, NY - Music Hall of Williamsburg
05-28 Barcelona, Spain - Primavera Sound Festival
