Are they any good? They seemed to be hyped alot (red flag) and I've sampled some songs in iTunes and I kind of like what I've heard..

I like them, but I was just having a discussion about how I am beginning to think I like pre 2000 music better in general and I am trying to like newer stuff, giveing it more of a chance thn I used to do, but really it isn't as good.. if that makes sense.

Somone (maybe bookstore) put the purple bottle on a mix once and it makes me smile.

their album 'feels' is a good listen. i haven't heard much of their other stuff but panda bear's album 'person pitch' is fantastic (he's in animal collective)

Funny story, they ended up giving me free tickets to a festival they were playing at. I didn't think it was gonna be much, because I saw some videos on youtube, as a friend requested, like acoustic home-sessions and wasn't impressed.

When I got to see them live tho, that was a whole different story. The sound was powerful and unique, crazy and impossible to ignore. It is some interetsing work, regardless.
