Shuffle 10 Game

I'm bored and wanna play.

Is there already a thread for this? I'm bored AND lazy.

I don't know the official rules of this obviously official game,
all i know is shuffle your play list and list the first 10 songs, no matter how embarassing. and maybe to a little write up about said tune?

I'll start:

What is is to Burn-Finch
I actually rarely listen to this song, I usually skip it when it comes on, I do like it though. When i had first started dating my ex (a whopping 5years ago) he burnt me a cd with this song on it. Sentimental value I guess.

Kate is Great-Bouncing Souls
Well...my name is Kate...and I'm pretty damn great. Too bad this song has nothing to do with a girl named Kate, or any other girl being great.
I much prefer Kate by Ben Folds.

Alien8-Lagwagon
I'm finding it wierd that all these punk songs are coming up. This song is fun to bop about too. I really don't listen to that much punk.

Expectations-Belle and Sebastian
Juno soundtrack. I totally love that soundtrack, it makes me happy.
This song is good. I should check out more Belle and Sebastian perhaps.

I Can't Take it-Tegan and Sarah
I went thru a Tegan and Sarah phase, but..this song isn't one of my favorites. It kinda makes me sad.

Oh My God-Lilly Allen (Kiaser Chiefs Cover)
Ya, this song is so fun. I like Lilly Allen, she makes me happy in general.

Summersong-AtmosphereI like this song...mostly becuase I recognize things that he's talking about. He talks about the Triple Rock. Minneapolis is kinda the American city I hang out in the most. So..he often makes reference in songs to places that i recognize.

Cabron-Red Hot Chilli Peppers
This is probably the most played song on my Ipod.
It's fun to sing to, it's fun to listen to, it's just a good song!

Inside out (Acoustic)-Eve6
Lol! oh man, this song takes me back to like...grade 7 i think, so good. I used to have the hugest crush on the singer from Eve6.

Beautiful-Smashing Pumpkins
Once apon a time a boy wrote all the lyrics to this song on Sweettarts with black pen for a Valentines day gift. It was so sweet. He was my boyfriend and we bonded over our love for the pumpkins. when were breaking up he wrote the lyrics to "Try Try Try" on kleenexes and left them all over the snowy ground infront of my house. I still have all of this stuff.

You're turn!

Ohio- Modest Mouse

I actually love this song to death, even still. I consider it a feel good song. I'm known to use modest mouse to block out reality.

This is all I need-Agent Orange

This is random. I haven't listened to them in maybe 3 years. They're a fun band. There arn't any memories really attached to this.

Girl-Danzig

Yeah, went through a huge misfits/Danzig/Samhain..ect phase. Still do love Danzig, even considered getting the Danzig skull as a tattoo. His voice is so sexy...

White Zombie-I Am Legend

Always was a big white zombie fan. My friend got me listening to them again after leaving them dormant for awhile.

Y Control-Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Now this was really random. This is another band who's shit I haven't listened to in ages. Now that the song is on though....I'm going to listen to the whole thing before I go to the next song =]

Natural Anthem- Postal Service

Yeah, I've been waiting ages for a new postal service album that has still never happened but.. any who. This is one of my albums that I can listen to all the way through every time. I like every song on it including this one. It's gotten me through some crappy feelings.

Real Eyes- Babes In Toyland

Yeah yeah. I never grew out of the cunt rock. I'm sure most everyone here loves or had loved them as much as me. Sometimes when I was angry this band would work better than any fucking metal.

Transatlantic Foe- At The Drive-In

This song actually now that I think of it is really derivative. It sounds like a tons of other stuff. I'm a fan of the mars volta now, more than I ever was of at the drive-in.

Scream of the butterfly-Acid Bath

I don't even know why I don't listen to them as much anymore, but I love this song. It's so funny what comes up in shuffle.

See The Sky About To Rain- Neil Young

I used to love the On The Beach album. It's still good just doesn't appeal to me as much as it did when I was younger. This was probably my least favorite song on the album

Letter to Memphis - Pixies
It's a pretty good song, I don't listen to it as often as I should.

Love Can Knock You Over - Chumbawamba
Not really down with this song

Government's to Blame - Varukers
Not one of the best Varuker's songs, but I do enjoy it.

Speak of the Devil - Misfits
One of my least favorite Misfits songs

Mrs. Butterworth - Nirvana
I will always love this song. I'ma open myself up a flea market, I'ma open myself up a flea market! And you're gonna wish that you did,
Gunna retire on the profits.

Electric Feel - MGMT
Such a great song! I have a feeling I'm going to get sick of it at some point though.

Tourette's - Nirvana (two Nirvana songs!)
I can definitely dance to it.

Banned in D.C. - Bad Brains
Love Bad Brains

This Wicked Tongue - PJ Harvey
Haven't listened to this PJ song at all really. I like it though.

To Your Love - Fiona Apple
Don't like this song, at all.

Wo Bist Du by Rammstein -
I love Rammstein... i love the t.A.T.u. "All About Us" mash-up with this track too.

Never Grow Old by The Cranberries -
From the off this song tugs at my heartstrings... i listen to this when i'm sad.. i don't know why

Shakin' by The Dandy Warhols -
I remember the days when i had a crush of Courtney Taylor-Taylor... memories

Playboy Mommy by Tori Amos -
I remember not liking this song this first time i heard it... but a friend used to have it on repeat and i grew to love it.

Carolyna by Melanie C -
Not one of her best but hey i like her

Liberty Bell by The Gathering
Fucking Awesome!!! Anneke Van Giersbergen puts many female singers to shame! This song is my first choice in the mosh pit at the local club!

Happy House by Siouxsie and the Banshees -
The ultimate British punk Goddess!! This song reminds me of a friend from high school who wanted to be her.

Get in!! The sexiest rock/metal song i've ever heard. Liv Kristine's voice in this makes me wanna be straight! "I Wanna get you up I wanna get on top..." OOOOO!

Whore of Heaven by Inkubus Sukkubus -
An okay English goth rock band... this song is one of their more repetitive tracks but who cares when you're pissed?

Tenebrae by Goblin -
The theme to the grand Dario Argento movie. Well the grand 5 min camera swoop!
