My favourite new musical discovery of the week is a new website called The Police Box October '08 » Ten Tracks.

For just £1, you can (legally) download 10 tracks by independent/unsigned artists. They do two sets of downloads each month, I'm listening to this month's right now and they're pretty good. I think it's a great idea and a good way to hear some new music and for new artists to get a bit of recognition.
