"Oh What a Feeling" it was to have a band such as Canada's the Organ in our lives, but "Don't Be Angry" that the emotionally-charged jangle-poppers called it quits back in late 2006.
Indeed, "Let the Bells Ring", for the Organ have one final release for us, an EP laid to tape during a brief posthumous recording session last year that you can listen to during the day or "Even in the Night".
The Thieves EP descends on good record shops October 14 with all the doomed fury of a "Fire in the Ocean", thanks to Mint Records. It includes six songs intended for the Organ's sophomore album and follow-up to 2004's Grab That Gun. "Can You Tell Me One Thing", you may ask? Which songs are on it? Clearly you haven't been paying attention.
In other news, Organ fans will be delighted to know that former frontwoman Katie Sketch introduced a new project called Mermaids late last year. Check out footage from the act's debut live performance here.
