I think this was the band they started after a few members left. I dont know I was pretty broke in the early nineties to buy or hear or see there solo or side projects but am aware that The Knitters was a big side project for some of them, Im not sure who.
I loved the whole band X, they were consistent with albums and lineup remained the same for the most part, the tracks were always strong and album concepts good, they are very real too. Im mean we dont se Exene bitching about lost royalties (Im sure they made more then they got) I guess she is so normal she is a librarian now??? Good for her and not just to throw the towel in, after 30 years they are still touring. As far as endurance TheB-52's and X stand the test of time, been together for about the same amount of time and always remained fresh and new.
