I saw Polly last Friday at the Hay Festival. She did an 'acoustic' set (well, it was just her!) and it was amazing.

She looked fabulous in her '1940s war outfit'! Her hair was pinned up, making her look really pretty. She did some of her new material which she has written on piano. From what she performed it sounded fantastic. She said it was the first time she'd ever performed on the piano in public. She actually did one of the songs twice because a massive insect landed on her and she started yelping!

I am sooooo jealous of anyone who saw this show.

That woman rocks! Live she is such an amazing captivating performer. Love the way she plays her guitars. Seeing her play Rid of Me live must be a religious experience. I LOVE that song Big Exit and I loved seeing the concert of her playing live.
