I didn't think it'd be worth going, but after seeing all the coverage on tv with Kings Of Leon and Jay Z I wish I was there so bad!
I keep hearing people saying Amy Winehouse did a good, solid performance, am I the only one who thinks it was a shambles? I've seen a couple of live performances from the past and they were a hell of a lot better than what she did last night. She seemed a lot more into fixing her do, adjusting her boobs and getting a drink.
I thought it was a shambles aswell, there was one song, after the ludicrously long introduction of the band (which was also an unintelligible mess) which I thought, "ah she's sobered up a little and it's coming back." but then Rehab was all over the place. The specials cover was awful and I'm sure the dancers only moved the mics right up beside her because it looked like she was about to keel over.

I watched the whole of Wino's performance on tv... her band were awesome, but Amy was a mess. She hit her stride and was quite good on a couple of songs, but most of it she was either drunk, out of practice or something else and just wasn't up to scratch.
If that had been her trying to make it she'd never be famous. Sadly she's still trading off past glory and media hype. She *was* very good a couple of years ago and hopefully she'll sort herself out and become good again. Last night was sadly more of a spectacle than a great show. Although it was promising that she both turned up and remained upright for a full hour, at least she's making progress I guess.
