Basically, I wanna see what things intrigue you about an artist/band but you really don't care about their music.

Right off the top of my head:
Tokyo Police Club... I really, really love their name. And while I haven't heard any full album of theirs, their single "Tesselate" is severly disappointing.

Bob Dylan...If you asked me a week ago, I would have cared less about him. But for some reason I started looking into him and now think he's a fucking genious. But his music is so...blah (probably folk music in general i'm sure). I can't get into it.

well listen to his other music, he abandoned folk music pretty early on. actually nearly all of his later music is shit, but he had this brief mid sixties golden period.

John Mayer. I've really liked him in so many tv shows i've seen him on, but really his music is an utter crime against humanity. + fucking jessica simpson.

mh i dont know if it's what the topic is about,anyway, christina aguilera.
i can barely stand her sing and dont like her music at all, but she looks like the kind of girl i'd love to hang out with.
i love her and her husband's love for halloween (might sound stupid,but they always seem to take it so seriously with the costumes and all i love it), plus, whoever has penis-shaped balloons at her son's bris and singin trannies at her baby shower should be my friend.

another semi off topic...I don't get why people are so into Jack Johnson, John Mayer and Dave Matthews...their music really bugs me.

I would say I enjoy gossip about Pete Wentz and his guyliner but don't really care for his music.

I also don't get why the Good Charlotte brothers get so much press they are godawful.
