I know i'll prob get ripped for this but anyone else a fan? She was the best Spice Girl like and her solo catalogue is class... Although the second album Reason was a lil bit pants... Beautiful Intentions is a brilliant album and so was Northern Star.. she defo does suit the rock chick image... and doesn't deserve all the shit she gets. |

I think it came out at a time when there was still some novelty value to solo Spice Girls in North America.
And I do remember Shirley Manson bitching about Mel C. ripping her off or something (Shirley being so original herself  ), so that made me kind of want to like her. Anybody who pisses Shirley Manson off can't be all bad.
