As a matter of fact:

on Winona Ryder:
i've been to her house. gotta say....i wasn't impressed. i don't like
groupies. i think it's sad when girls spread themselves all over town.
besides, i doubt that i'm midwestern enough for her tastes. someone's looking
out for me. though, i'm sure she's a lovely woman deep down inside. it's
never too late to change.

3) When you were touring with Manson and Nine Inch Nails was it awkward as
Courtney was fighting with them?

*answer*
as far as i remember, courtney wasn't fighting with them, but rather fucking
them. oops....am i allowed to say that???

Kathleen Hanna *answer*
shit talk on courtney's family. hmmm. i don't remember that. all i remember is giving courtney some candy i happened to be holding. and she started throwing it at kathleen. real playful like. and next thing i know i see the silliest 2 second girl slap fight i've ever seen. hilarious and so not worth the attention.

*question*
- What was the reaction of ppl ( maybe intolerant), which saw you, playing in
a band with three women?

*answer*
can you rephrase that? do you mean did people look down upon me for playing
with 3 women? yes. of course. they either thought i was extremely lucky
or out of my skull. depends on who you consider ppl. the sexism in rock
is just a reflection of our society. turn on the radio. where have all the
women musicians gone????

the song "sassy" on poti was funny. the producer, don fleming, made us all get drunk on some special scotch whiskey. then we ran into the room, picked up our instruments and he hit record. i remember the strings feeling really fuzzy and so easy to bend. when we heard back what we had played, none of us knew what we had been doing.

i never heard of that. we definitely weren't touring then. i think somebody might've been poking fun....ya know...bush and hole go really good together. that reminds me of a show we did way back in the day when the lineup was hole, the creamers, and the hardons.

i still love her and there'll always be a supporting role somewhere in my heart for her. she taught me so much. especially about flannel shirts and leather jackets. i owe my practice of buddhism to her. there are no hard feelings about movies or nirvana songs or drama queen attention seeking, outside writers coming in, or "i don't have enough press this week" resentments. i don't hold grudges. i wish her the best. i accept full responsibility for everything i've experienced. yes, there were a few magical moments when we were all together and it felt like us against the world, youth against fascism, revenge of the nerds, attack of the amazons, ferris bueller's day off, etc, etc. let's see...i think one time was when we were all horseback riding on the black beaches of new zealand....i believe it was january 16th, 1999 to be exact. look if you want details and dates you'll have to wait. someday you'll have more details than you can shake a stick at. and it won't be pretty. jeez, you remind me of a scowling teacher screaming "BE SPECIFIC!!!!" i'm only doing this for fun. not extra credit

New Orleans demos:
it wasn't a record. just a few demos. i actually like some of the lyrical ideas courtney was coming up with. and there were some good musical moments as well. unfortunately, most of it got left behind when a certain bald person and a notorious producer got involved. i used a couple of riff ideas on celebrity skin. maybe someday i will be able to fix them up and get them released on something.

no. i don't believe in being arrested. it's overrated.

hole's breakup had nothing to do with the lawsuit. we were over and done with at the moment courtney went onstage in vancouver, summer '99 and said, "this is our last show, i'm going to go make a movie!". she did and it was.
Personally, I try not to play the "what if" game. Apparently He does. So, I guess we have to believe Him. Yes, Billy is correct. In fact Billy is bigger than Jesus and Satan combined. Billy is our God. Our saviour, shadow, father, martyr, mother, mary and devil. We worship at the altar of Billy. And you should too. He has come for our souls and our pocketbooks. Without Him we are nothing. Kneel and pray to God Billy. Do it for yourself. Let Him enter into your heart. He can save you too. Give it a try. If there's any project you have cookin' that's bound to fail due to your own ineptitude, just call on Him and let Him fix it. Let go, Let Billy. Please. For the sake of us all.

vivid hole memoris:
getting a guitar thrown at me onstage kind of sticks out, unfortunately. the end of the end. and somehow taking the high road and pretending it was a part of the show. rather than clocking someone.

i played all the guitar on celebrity skin and most of live through this. courtney played a little on it. but she played on every song on pretty. she used to be an awesome guitarist back in the day.

for some reason i've never really had "best friends". i guess my best friends are the ones that are a pain in the ass to me and make me learn and grow.

*question*
Can Courtney become a rock legend?
Or can Hole become, with the time, a legendary band?

*answer*
the legend is quickly being flushed down the toilet.
*question*

eric question Why wern't you in the "Be a man" video?

*answer*
by the time that was being made there was no band. it was the courtney show. and it shows.

i find all courtney questions offensive

do you know what the real meaning behind the song 'dying' is? i think its really mesmerising.. probably one of my favourites. but whenever courtney talks about it she always jokes and says its about trent reznor's penis size or something. thanks anyways, if you don't.

*answer*
as far as i can tell it's about exactly that. trent's penis size. though i don't know first hand it's current dimensions. or maybe the song was inspired by a certain star trek episode. whatever she's singing about... all i know it sure sounds good after a couple of whippets (sp?) and a drano chaser.

*question*
Why did Carolyn Rue and Jill Emery leave the band?

*answer*
jill decided to quit. she and courtney were not getting along. also, i think there might have been some musical differences and passive aggressiveness happening from all of us. carolyn was fired unfortunately when courtney decided she wanted someone that could play more pop oriented songs.

*question*
In the Violet clip who is it in the end sex scene with Courtney??
If it IS courtney that is.

*answer*
i believe it's trent reznor in a wig.
uhhhhh...let's see, no, it was a happy thing. i love violence. i love drugs. i love power, money and fame. and i absolutely adore gangsta rock. i won't go into the details about why your question makes no sense. i think you know the answer to your own question. i just wish people could see that when they are punching someone else they are really punching themselves. know what i'm sayin?

*question*
what's the funniest thing that you remember of a Hole show?

*answer*
when courtney, billy and me all had a 3some on stage. it was ugly funny.
i've offered my help. that's all i can do. but it's up to her. it's her karma. she has to accept responsibility in order to change it. and from what i can tell she doesn't seem to think there's a problem. and the sychophants and enablers are doing their enabling, enabling another band, another record and more self-destruction while they make their money and get their rocks off on their celebrity connection. interventions don't work. i've done a few and none have ever done anything but piss people off and make them feel like they are being attacked. i encourage you to pray for her. unfortunately, a lot of people don't understand prayer and don't know how to do it. it's a dirty word.

i think the perfect final, final release would be a courtney spoken word album. just her in-between-song-stage-banter from various hole live shows. it definitely puts the tail between your legs. somebody put out a single of just paul stanley from kiss dropping his pearls of wisdom during concerts. pure genius.

no. no names. no babies. just wood and metal and paint and strings. but when they have the magic they're priceless. right now, we're not on speaking terms. moody bastards.

nobody was there during the new orleans writing session, except for c, me patty and mel. oh, and the fire dept. ....when c tried to burn down our house. i found new orleans to have a thick cloud of oppression draped over it. the voodoo and catholicism mixed with the masonic temple we were working in really did my head in.

remember that silly joke about using your family's street name and the the name of your first pet to come up with your porn star name? mine would be "slowdance feliciano". ooh la la.

jill quit in january of '92 but played one last show in february. we got patty in april 92 after recording the wipers cover in march..."over the edge", with caroline on drums and i think i faked bass on it. kristen came along in the spring of 93. i saw her play jabberjaw in la and asked her to do some shows with us. and then she ended up joining the band and moving to seattle. there you have it.

hi jesse... i know nothing about alanis. haven't heard anything from her in years. i think she's canadian. hmmm. in my dreams the hole dvd would have live stuff. random goofing off. fights. gossip. backstage madness. road rage. and some studio stuff. videos too.

kurt didn't play any guitar on ltt. i played most of the parts ( with c ) on poti and ltt, and all guitars on cs. so there you have it. kurt only mumbled two parts on ltt, cuz he was there with c when she was doing some vox and she self-destructively convinced him to sing something. it wasn't used or mixed very low because it was basically unusable. yay! drugs. gotta love em.

courtney not believing in mine or her capability to come up with a great album on our own. she was always looking for outside help, looking for pennies to shine up while ignoring the plate of gold on her own back. working with bc was difficult mainly because i don't like his music or his band and i thought his relationship with cl was destructive. opinions.

there was one called sally gardens. a folk ditty. another called antoinette. another called bob mackie's gown which sounded like the doors on java juice.

the next hole album would've been garage rock with banjos.

no, i don't think so. that doesn't sound right. but she did go up against drew in batman forever and lost. i think it had something to do with jim carey being afraid of her or something.

no. the first time i heard the distillers, i thought it was courtney's solo project. and then when i heard courtney's solo project i was hoping, praying it was the distillers. oh well.
