*question*
Can
Courtney become a rock legend?
Or can Hole become, with the time, a legendary band?
*answer*
the legend is quickly being flushed down the toilet.
*question*
eric question Why wern't you in the "Be a man" video?
*answer*
by the time that was being made there was no band. it was the
courtney show. and it shows.
i find all
courtney questions offensive
do you know what the real meaning behind the song 'dying' is? i think its really mesmerising.. probably one of my favourites. but whenever
courtney talks about it she always jokes and says its about trent reznor's penis size or something. thanks anyways, if you don't.
*answer*
as far as i can tell it's about exactly that. trent's penis size. though i don't know first hand it's current dimensions. or maybe the song was inspired by a certain star trek episode. whatever she's singing about... all i know it sure sounds good after a couple of whippets (sp?) and a drano chaser.
*question*
Why did Carolyn Rue and Jill Emery leave the band?
*answer*
jill decided to quit. she and
courtney were not getting along. also, i think there might have been some musical differences and passive aggressiveness happening from all of us. carolyn was fired unfortunately when
courtney decided she wanted someone that could play more pop oriented songs.
*question*
In the Violet clip who is it in the end sex scene with
Courtney??
If it IS
courtney that is.
*answer*
i believe it's trent reznor in a wig.
uhhhhh...let's see, no, it was a happy thing. i love violence. i love drugs. i love power, money and fame. and i absolutely adore gangsta rock. i won't go into the details about why your question makes no sense. i think you know the answer to your own question. i just wish people could see that when they are punching someone else they are really punching themselves. know what i'm sayin?
*question*
what's the funniest thing that you remember of a Hole show?
*answer*
when
courtney, billy and me all had a 3some on stage. it was ugly funny.
i've offered my help. that's all i can do. but it's up to her. it's her karma. she has to accept responsibility in order to change it. and from what i can tell she doesn't seem to think there's a problem. and the sychophants and enablers are doing their enabling, enabling another band, another record and more self-destruction while they make their money and get their rocks off on their celebrity connection. interventions don't work. i've done a few and none have ever done anything but piss people off and make them feel like they are being attacked. i encourage you to pray for her. unfortunately, a lot of people don't understand prayer and don't know how to do it. it's a dirty word.
i think the perfect final, final release would be a
courtney spoken word album. just her in-between-song-stage-banter from various hole live shows. it definitely puts the tail between your legs. somebody put out a single of just paul stanley from kiss dropping his pearls of wisdom during concerts. pure genius.
no. no names. no babies. just wood and metal and paint and strings. but when they have the magic they're priceless. right now, we're not on speaking terms. moody bastards.
nobody was there during the new orleans writing session, except for c, me patty and mel. oh, and the fire dept. ....when c tried to burn down our house. i found new orleans to have a thick cloud of oppression draped over it. the voodoo and catholicism mixed with the masonic temple we were working in really did my head in.
remember that silly joke about using your family's street name and the the name of your first pet to come up with your porn star name? mine would be "slowdance feliciano". ooh la la.
jill quit in january of '92 but played one last show in february. we got patty in april 92 after recording the wipers cover in march..."over the edge", with caroline on drums and i think i faked bass on it. kristen came along in the spring of 93. i saw her play jabberjaw in la and asked her to do some shows with us. and then she ended up joining the band and moving to seattle. there you have it.
hi jesse... i know nothing about alanis. haven't heard anything from her in years. i think she's canadian. hmmm. in my dreams the hole dvd would have live stuff. random goofing off. fights. gossip. backstage madness. road rage. and some studio stuff. videos too.
kurt didn't play any guitar on ltt. i played most of the parts ( with c ) on poti and ltt, and all guitars on cs. so there you have it. kurt only mumbled two parts on ltt, cuz he was there with c when she was doing some vox and she self-destructively convinced him to sing something. it wasn't used or mixed very low because it was basically unusable. yay! drugs. gotta love em.
courtney not believing in mine or her capability to come up with a great album on our own. she was always looking for outside help, looking for pennies to shine up while ignoring the plate of gold on her own back. working with bc was difficult mainly because i don't like his music or his band and i thought his relationship with
cl was destructive. opinions.
there was one called sally gardens. a folk ditty. another called antoinette. another called bob mackie's gown which sounded like the doors on java juice.
the next hole album would've been garage rock with banjos.
no, i don't think so. that doesn't sound right. but she did go up against drew in batman forever and lost. i think it had something to do with jim carey being afraid of her or something.
no. the first time i heard the distillers, i thought it was
courtney's solo project. and then when i heard
courtney's solo project i was hoping, praying it was the distillers. oh well.
