I really don't get the 'spectacle'. Why would anybody pay an enormous amount of money to see an artist who really can sing for shit? I mean, honestly, she can't sing. That's why she has to make her shows so elaborate. She needs something grand to make up for her voice.

And it's so cliche for gay men to go see her. I mean, she just keeps recycling the same old imagery and sex shit. It's so tired. I'd rather put my money to better use.

I caught a bit of her Radio 1 weekender act, and I thought she was terrible. Embarrassingly poor.
I've never got the whole Madonna hype. Yes, she changes her image (with the help of a stable of stylists), but that doesn't take away the fact that she really CANNOT sing, or act, and in any interview I've read/heard/seen comes across as a humourless bitch, who thinks she's the second coming of christ.

Okay, whether you like someone's music or voice is a matter of personal taste, but it always surprises me when people say Madonna comes across as a humorless bitch in interviews. I don't get that at all. She is always polite and charming and never says anything negative about other aritsts. She tells jokes all the time. I guess some people are so filled with hatred for her they don't actually listen to a word she says.

I kind of miss the Truth Or Dare Madonna, but I like the new Madonna to an extent as well. But I don't care for the music a whole lot.

Have you heard any of her recent interviews to promote Hard Candy? She's been very humorous and fun.
As I remember the last time she was on Oprah, it was to defend herself when everyone was attacking over her adoption of David. I don't really think that was the time to make jokes, she was talking about a very serious issue.
I've been to England numerous times and I really don't hear a British accent when she talks, nothing like the way most British people talk.
People focus on hear alleged accent, but do they listen to what she says. I challenge you to actually find something bitchy she's said about anyone. But apparently you are so hung up on the accent you didn't really listen to her.
I also don't think it's necessary to make jokes all the time. Why can't pop stars talk about serious things, whether it's spirituality or politics if they want to.

I am hopefully going to the Las Vegas show with a few of my friends...I have seen her last two tours and can`t wait!

nah, she usually adds at least one or two "oldies" (even if theyre in an altered form). she just did Like A Virgin, La Isla Bonita, Lucky Star & Erotica on the last tour.
