| | | Hands up who's gonna see Bjork! I'm going to Plymouth Pavillions tomorrow to see and hear her I'm so excited!
I'm hoping that Bjork fans smell nicer than Dreamtheater or viking metal fans - phew! I'll bring a perfume tester along just in case... |

| | I've been checking the setlists, and it doesn't look as though it's ever completely the same! I hope she plays my favourites, I really wanted Venus as a Boy to be on it but it doesn't look like she's doing that one on this tour, but Army of Me is and that rocks! |

She didn't do it last night, but it didn't spoil the evening one little bit - it was an AMAZING gig! I loved the lasers, the confetti, the flames and head-dresses, costumes oh it was all so beautiful. I danced and danced and danced, and sang "I love him, I love him, I love him, I lo-ove him" to my husband
The set list was fantastic, I can remember the following:
Earth Intruders
Hunter
All Is Full Of Love
Pagan Poetry
The Pleasure Is All Mine
Hope
Army Of Me
Wanderlust
Hyperballad
Anchor Song
Declare Independence
She has so much energy, and I love the way she dances about. It was a really fantastic gig and I'm so glad that I went
I have to say that the warm up act was a trifle bizarre - I like the Avalanches and Mr Scruff, so I'm open minded when it comes to arty DJ-ing, but I thought that DJ was rubbish. Crackly records, ear-splitting sound effects, pointless mixing of clashing beats, not to mention the over-use of bass that caused my entire body to reverberate. Just not my thing. Eventually, she worked her way up to playing some actual songs, not just random beats with sampled vocals over, and that was alright because at least you could try to dance to it (although she kept shoving in random stuff that stopped the beat so it wasn't easy trying to dance).
Another thing that annoys me is when you get to the venue early, get right to the front, stand through the warm-up act for over an hour in order to get a decent spot to stand, then a few songs into the main act, other people try to barge through into non-existant spaces in order to get a better view of the stage. I don't like being jostled! That said, the audience was much more fun to be a part of than at other gigs I've been to - there were some interesting costumes and some crazy makeup going on.
Oh it was a great evening! I just need to catch up on my sleep now |

| | | ha she's fantastic! unfortunately i saw her at a festival where she played just before rage against the machine, so the audience was a bti shit.

| | oojeyboojey her opener for you was leila arab, who played with her on the debut and post tours. not that that excuses anything, but i thought it might make you feel just a tad bit better if you knew who she was. |

Thanks for telling me! I felt bad about not liking her music because she looked like a nice person, but then you can't like everything can you? I was stood there for the first twenty minutes trying desperately to like it, but it really didn't work for me. |
