Exclamation print out concert tickets - halp!

so i bought a ticket from stubhub for a show next week and the ticket i was sent is one of those print off the internet things from ticketmaster.

now i've never used print out tickets. i always, always get hard tickets. the ticket has the purchasers name on it. so i'm all paranoid. is it the ticket real? is the venue going to ask for id? should i call stubhub?

ps: is this the right forum for this? please move if its not.

call stub hubb to confirm!

they usually have an area on the ticket to scan so they can tell if it's fake or not.

i never use those printed ones, i like the actually tickets.

You should be fine. I had these print out White Stripes tickets I bought last minute from ebay. The link that I used from Ticketbastard to print the tickets out came from the seller's account. All the venue did was scan the tickets. They didn't ask for id. I don't think they would be worried about the name because who is to say somebody didn't give you the tickets.

hmm... well i sent stubhub an email. so we'll see. i've sold tickets there before so i like to ticket its legit but the whole printout thing bothers me. has anyone ever bought tickets off stubhub?

i've tried comparing an actual hard copy ticket to this one and while some things are the same (event code, date, price) the scanbars are way, way different. their scanbar has 4 more numbers. and i've never even seen a printout ticket before.

it's all ass. and this ticket was so much money i can't even deal.
