Noise Pop & Little Radio Day Party
Pictures Of Me: Rare Photos Of Elliott Smith

San Francisco’s Noise Pop Festival Joins Forces with Los Angeles’ Little Radio
For a three day party in Austin TX / Presents Rare Elliott Smith Photo Show
March 12 - 14, 2008

Still basking in the afterglow of their own unprecedented successful festival in San Francisco, Noise Pop (WWW.NOISEPOP.COM) is returning to Austin Texas during this year's South By Southwest Music Conference, this time to join forces with the Los Angeles-based Little Radio to produce a three day-long day party - March 12th, 13th and 14th - featuring 30 bands playing on two stages at the legendary venue, The Red-Eyed Fly.

The amazing line-up for this three-day event includes:

The Raveonettes, Autolux, Rogue Wave, Black Angels, Grand Ole Party, Helio Sequence, Octopus Project, Autolux, Two Gallants, A Place to Bury Strangers, White Denim, The Little Ones, Grand Archives, Foreign Born, Minipop, Film School, David Dondero, Explorers Club, Die! Die! Die!, Brothers and Sisters, Spindrift, The Big Sleep, Yellow Fever, Brazos, Tom Freund, The Pity Party, Peel, Restaurant. Magic Bullets, Li'l Cap'n Travis, and Ed Harcourt.

As with previous years, the Little Radio Noise Pop Party will be broadcast live on Little Radio’s Internet radio station, easily found on iTunes or available from Littleradio.com. Noise Pop is also pleased to announce Wolfgang's Vault as a presenting sponsor for this year’s festival. As part of this unique partnership Wolfgang’s Vault will offer exclusive audio and video recordings of live performances from the Little Radio Noise Pop Party for free from their website, www.wolfgangsvault.com

What began with the personal archives of famed promoter Bill Graham now has become the definitive source of live music recordings available anywhere. Music lovers worldwide discover and re-discover the best live music via free streaming, and downloadable rare concert recordings. Music from 1965 through today is represented with amazing performances that capture memorable moments in rock history, exclusively at www.wolfgangsvault.com

The Little Radio & Noise Pop Party is also proudly sponsored by Dewar’s, the mobile community platform Kadoink, and the new music website Bandloop.

In addition to the stellar line-up of bands, the Little Radio Noise Pop Party is completely free and open to everyone 18 and up with free Dewar’s, beer and bloody mary’s for those 21+ each day, staring each day at 11 AM.

In addition to three days of live music, Noise Pop is also pleased to present "Pictures of Me: Rare Photographs of Elliott Smith by Autumn de Wilde" at the 4 Walls Fine Art Gallery located at 115 EAST 5TH STREET #1 in Austin TX. Elliott Smith’s intensely personal music has left a deep mark on a generation of fans and musicians. Renowned photographer, Autumn de Wilde worked closely with Smith as a friend and photographer for several years before the singer’s untimely death. This showcase of startling and rare images captures an intimate and unseen side of his personality. The show will open on March 13 from 4-7PM and run through March 22, 2008.

NO RSVP'S ARE REQUIRED FOR THESE EVENTS.
