Yeah it's my favorite out the CDs I purchased, followed closely by Rebel and DAUGHTRY.


Mars Volta are scary talented... I actually had to stop a few songs because... I mean... the breakdown about 6 minutes in on Goliath and the lyrics to Agadez... it really felt like something might jump out of my headphones and possess me... their music is like a chancy psychedelic trip

the only thing I've heard that is more disturbing is the demo version of Mona Lisa by Britney Spears backmasked

more likely you nodded off out of boredom and had a bad dream.

Their music is not boring, it's cacophonous and off putting at times... but that is what is cool about it, at times you can groove to it, other times you can't find a beat to save your life, and sometimes you simply have to sit back and take it all in


and that can happen all in one minute.

Then again my taste in music is pretty ridiculous, I mean... for them to make it into my top five artists they'd have to contend with Britney Spears and Ashlee Simpson.
