Is anyone here into/know of the "Third Grade Haters?"

I just added one of their songs on my MySpaz profile page. I'm on an expedition for new music and I ran across these guys.

I'm on the fence about them, but there's definitely some things that I really like about them....(I really like their name! ). No but really, I like their raw sound, but I kind of don't like how similar they tend to be to "The Hives". Still, when they get it right, (OK, I only heard like 5 songs, so this is just a really limited opinion), I can tell these guys could probably be pretty good.

I just wondered if anyone's seen them play, or if they've been around for awhile or what. I'm always looking for NEW music that I can stand cuz I'm old and all that.

Right now I really like stuff like The Raveonettes and the Maggots...garage sounding stuff. So I stumbled upon the Third Grade Haters. I LOVE that name!!

Third Grade Haters Rock!

Just to let you know I actually know 2 of the three members of the band. I graduated highschool with the singer/guitarist and my wife graduated with the drummer. I know they all love playing music and look forward to playing everyday. If you havn't seen them live then I highly recomend it if you get a chance to. They are an extremely high energy band live and they like to smash things and knock down drum sets, mics, and what everelse they can do. They are crazy and wild and they rock. Oh yea I'm also starting to help them by running sound for some of their shows. I know they will make it one day. They have actually had two songs appear on The Reaper on the CW Network.

Lady_Goodman is an unknown quantity at this point
I actually know them quite well and am rather close to them. I was with the band from the very beginning from a fan at their first show to their driver on out of town gigs. I have seen these guys grow and spill their passion for music (not too mention see all their crazy stage acts). They're great musicians, great people, and I think they are this generations Beatles. They are the sound of the revolution music needs today.
