He's bi-polar, but he's functioning much better now.

I used to kiss my Michael Jackson posters. I got lipbalm grease marks on them though.
Aw. He's still lovely, though my friend and I are tactless and say he looks like the world's hottest cancer patient. Very skinny and wears a bandana on his head. There was a great interview with him on youtube from September 2007, but it got pulled down. He even had a story about going to Michael Jackson's house and meeting the entire Jackson family!

I am a huge dork for their music. I even got the remastered box set. I was Adam for Halloween when I was 13. The white stripe is my favorite look. I would listen to the records - especially Kings of the Wild Frontier, and read the lyrics and look at the pictures until the album sleeve was worn thin. I had a poster on my door of him with a purple / fuschiai background during the Kings era. My Mom made me put it inside my room and I was all angsty about it.
He's always been bi-polar and he is quite open about it in his autobiography. He ws very non exploitative about his sexual exploits, which I thought was a classy move. He never mentioned meeting any Jacksons - just a phone call. He contends that Michael stole the military jacket look from him. I always thought he was kidding about Liza Minnelli ( In "Crackpot History") until I read that book.
My hipster friends make fun of me for liking him so much - and Bow Wow Wow.

He talked about Michael's interest in his music, and how he was standing in michael's kitchen, talking to his mother and sisters. As Adam told it, it was a fun experience.
Just wondering, but have you seen Adam in the film World Gone Wild? I love it so damn much, I don't care how stupid it gets at points. Seeing shirtless Adam kiss shirtless Michael Pare has greatly enhanced my life.
Edit; hipsters can suck it. I tend to give them conniption fits as I can easily listen to Gogol Bordello and Cinderella, as well as love and appreciate them equally.

I love everything he's done, except Ant Rap. It makes we want to punch babies. I try so hard to listen to it all the way through, but I have yet to succeed.
I like his early solo stuff like Friend or Foe and Strip but I could never really get into the Ants for some reason... Kings Of The Wild Frontier is a great song, though

A few years ago I found Dirk Wears White Sox and Strip cassettes in a bin at the Goodwill for a quarter each. It was a big day for me.
(however they've both since snapped and broke, sad day)
And when Spellcaster comes on randomly at 3 in the morning, I'm all
