The B-52s have announced a US club tour in support of their first studio album in 16 years.
The band will kick off the 'Funplex Tour' on April 23 in Boston, a month after the album's March 25 release.
The band will play dates in cities including Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago and Portland before wrapping up their tour at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California on May 5.
The tour dates are: Boston, MA Paradise Rock Club (April 23)
Philadelphia, PA TLA (25)
Washington, DC 930 Club (26)
Detroit, MI Clutch Cargo's (28)
Cleveland, OH House of Blues (29)
Chicago, IL House of Blues (May 1)

they are co-headling the True Colors tour this year with Cyndi Lauper....hence so little club dates.

Anyway, I've seen them a few times since 1999 and to be honest, they are hit or miss. Cindy can still fuck the shit out of "Dance This Mess Around", though. The new single is pretty good, I hope the rest of the album is just as fun ... I mean the last album was "Good Stuff" and aside from the title track and "Revolution Earth", it was kinda boring. |

i'm looking forward to fagfest [aka true colors] but we've got the indigo girls nd the clicks....so i'm gonna be at the beer consessions until the b-52's come on. plus i can't stand rosie....i'd like to stab that pig.

There is a video of them at the Shoreline Amp. in Cali doing "Cosmic Thing" in 1990 and they look like they are having sooo much fun. Cindy just doesnt move like that anymore. |
