i think this i actually one of the best reznor moves he's made in awhile. i liked the viral marketting thing of YR0, but the record was pretty shitty in itself (minus that "survivalism" remix with saul williams). but ghosts i-iv is brilliant. i think he really underestimated himself on this one by releasing only GI for free. you really need to hear all four of them to appreciate it.

its like, drug-addict music. its not far from the vein of instrumentals he's done before (like "a warm place"). you don't really need vocals to go with it coz the songs kinda sings themselves. i guess. idk. thats all i can describe it as right now, as i'm just skimming through it now. either by the deluxe edition, or just torrent the other three parts, but don't just stop at the free GI , coz there's so much more to it than just that.
