i'm not even going to try and play against type anymore so i can confess.

the edge is a really good looking guy anyway. but clone edge off the scale fuckable. i love that he's grinning up his sleeve, but looking so very, very hot as he does it.

my complaint with pop is that there weren't enough songs like discotheque. after that, it got fairly low-key.
since they took so much shit for this album, they should have just gone all the way.

i've just played the it about five times in a row. it's such a great song.
i like everything they did in the 90's.

i take comfort (and they probably do too) in the fact henry rollins is the face of U2 hate because he's a fucking idiot who has released some of the worst music in the history of rock. so that's the company you keep when you talk smack about my 12th favorite band.

if i had to choose one out of u2, i'd surely go with larry. he's HOT in the electrical storm video. but i see your point in the discotheque video. (wich i love, btw)

i do absolutely not agree on what you said about herny rollins. he was perfect for black flag. and they're one of my fav bands anyway so it doesnt count, really (i dont mind the rollins band)

the best part about edge in that video is the total deadpan, dry humour that comes across. i love U2 and i love the edge.

I joined some crazy campaign to only ever refer to him as Dave Evans. There was a rumour that if he found out, he'd be really pissed. His other name is no name for old men.

in my dreams the edge is bleaty-faced but teflon skinned. he's a sly one, and likely started the campaign for his own amusement.

i just realized he's without a hat for most of the discotheque video. i really admire his hairline and hope mine goes that way. if i have a type, he's it.

it's a brilliant song anyway, i've always really liked it.

tonight i went out looking for a copy of pop. couldn't find it so had to settle for all that you can't leave behind and how to dismantle an atomic bomb. i'm putting off listening to them by posting on kittyradio. i don't want to listen to 00's U2 and i don't really want to hear 80's U2 either. but i'll persevere.

next time i see my fucker ex, i hope to be a huge U2 fan. that way he'll wonder what else he doesn't know about me.

Hank has been hating U2 for many a year, you'd be angry too if you had no neck.
He's said a variety of things including (but not limited to) U2 has the worst rhythm section of any band, Bono is a boring singer, and he questions his involvement with causes alluding it's more to do with publicity than anything else.

Until the End of the World is also linked to the movie of the same name, the lyrics are damn near a plot synopsis of the film.

There was a thing in one of Rollins books about Winnie Mandela's cat getting stuck in a tree, and U2 spearheading a benefit concert with all the big 80's musicians to get it down.

I thought that was pretty funny, but the rest of the time he just sounds like an asshole.
Rollins should always be funny, because he's insufferable when pissed off or playing the intellect. I do like how he always looks ready to choke the fucking life out of every guest he interviews on that show of his though.
