it's a brilliant song anyway, i've always really liked it.

tonight i went out looking for a copy of pop. couldn't find it so had to settle for all that you can't leave behind and how to dismantle an atomic bomb. i'm putting off listening to them by posting on kittyradio. i don't want to listen to 00's U2 and i don't really want to hear 80's U2 either. but i'll persevere.

next time i see my fucker ex, i hope to be a huge U2 fan. that way he'll wonder what else he doesn't know about me.

Hank has been hating U2 for many a year, you'd be angry too if you had no neck.
He's said a variety of things including (but not limited to) U2 has the worst rhythm section of any band, Bono is a boring singer, and he questions his involvement with causes alluding it's more to do with publicity than anything else.

Until the End of the World is also linked to the movie of the same name, the lyrics are damn near a plot synopsis of the film.

There was a thing in one of Rollins books about Winnie Mandela's cat getting stuck in a tree, and U2 spearheading a benefit concert with all the big 80's musicians to get it down.

I thought that was pretty funny, but the rest of the time he just sounds like an asshole.
Rollins should always be funny, because he's insufferable when pissed off or playing the intellect. I do like how he always looks ready to choke the fucking life out of every guest he interviews on that show of his though.
