Ah yeah thanks! I will do it when I'm not on my way out for plans. I forgot Amazon has samples.

Backwoods Barbie sort of plays out like a career sampling. A lot of the songs feel like outtakes from her previous musical phases. There are bluegrass covers of pop songs (Drives Me Crazy) 70s country (Backwoods Barbie), 80s pop country (Cologne, Made Of Stone) and Better Get To Livin is very reminiscent of the theme from Transamerica.

All in all it is a very good album. It's a bit erratic and needs more focus but there are some excellent songs.

My favorites are Cologne, Tracks of My Tears, Backwoods Barbie, and Better Get To Livin.
