| | | Did Anyone By Chance Purchase Goldfrapp's New Album? HOLY! I got the deluxe edition of Seventh Tree, and IT IS AMAZING. It comes with:
- 4 beautiful postcards
- 1 CD
- 1 DVD
- 1 lyric book
- 1 huge fold-out poster
and the texture of the package is like... woven paper. like some type of texture you'd find in your grandmother's attic.
and the album is just AMAZING. it is so authentic and real. you just go to another world. 10/10 |

| | | I'd like to buy this version! Deluxe editions are usually crap but this looks great.
Why didn't they use the owl shots for the album cover? I love those. |

Why didn't they use the owl shots for the album cover? I love those. | I was wondering that myself, but then I read that Alison wanted the cover to be reminiscent of the 70s folk albums with just a face shot in a nature-istic atmosphere. And once you get it in person, you totally get what she was going for. It doesn't come across so well when you see it online.
A&E got to #10 in the UK too so I was very pleased to see that. I was expecting top 30, so top 10 is amazing. Hopefully the album debuts high too. |

| | | That is awesome! I may take some of the income tax refund and buy it. I'm not usually a spendthrift, but it'd be nice to have a really good CD for a change. |

| | | even though i grew away from their music, what i've heard of this record has got me curious enough to probably buy it. the LP isn't out until the 11th, so i'll have to wait until then.
