i just bought the two killers albums, really like them and have been listening to them non-stop for the last few days. the second one is especially great.

while not the only reason, musicial elitism at kr was one of the reasons i never bothered with them before. like courtney says, cynics crush your spirit.

it really annoys me when people get a lot of shit for the bands they like. it's totally subjective and you can't learn good taste (whatever that is). i guess people learn to lie about, omit or exaggerate when it comes to the music they like, but that's boring.

by the way, i'm not talking about the mods. not historygravity and debaser anyway. not sure who else there is, so can't vouch for them.

I was afraid to ask for a jack johnson mp3 on here once. nobody would have it anyway but i really liked the song on the radio so it was worth a shot.

I hated them before I knew there was a fat lippy bitch in the band because Emit (a hole.com era starfucker...not ryan starfucker, who i like) was constantly posting about what good friends he is with a certain Nathan from The Gossip. I figured it was a pretty desperate name drop, but gave the fucker enough credit to figure this Nathan would at least be the singer.

And I doubt I'm the only person he's turned off the band. So don't be so quick to judge.

Not saying it's the case with Beth, but ever notice how people who work that "they hate me because I'm fat" mentality, usually have really terrible personalities and are sometimes even Nazis?

The KR does not influence what I think or do in my real life. Years ago, when we started out, maybe... today, not so much.

I won't say that I haven't known people like that, as that would be a lie. But so many of the threads on here basically bitch about her being a fat bitch and whatnot. So I do think it influences peoples' opinions of the band as a whole.

why lie, omit, or exaggerate? i would guess the majority of people on KR don't like most of the music i listen to and vice versa but really who cares? i like music for me, not what other people think, i assumed others felt the same. this post surprised me FMF! maybe there would be more diverse music around here if we didn't assume all kittys fit in a box. yes, i said it, i call KR people kittys
