fuck, i can't find the william orbit mix of "electrical storm" on youtube

and i really want to hear it right now.

last night i listened to sam's town by the killers and i'm really starting to love that album.

followed it up by some of jukebox by cat power. when i first heard about this album, i figured it would be terrible. but what the fuck do i know anyway?
love her billie holiday cover, but "metal heart" is my favorite thing on the album so far.

and then because i can't sort through the debris of a relationship like an adult, i listened to lots and lots of nine inch nails.
i was up until three a.m. because i kept thinking of songs i had to hear. the fragile sounds so amazing, i was retarded to dismiss it because of the shit lyrics when it came out.
listen to it after pretty hate machine (which has better songwriting, but ridiculously dated production) and on headphones and it's an amazing piece of work. after a while his gross overuse of the word "decay" even stops being annoying.
so i had to rebuy the NIN live album today, because i remember loving the version of "sin" on that thing.

the plan was to find new music and gets lots of new songs pumping through my head to flush out staleness, but i'm far too stuck in my ways.

if someone can find the orbit mix of electrical storms i'd really appreciate it.

n/m i found it.
it reminds me of what i thought downtown would be like before i was allowed go. i loved when everything seemed bigger. i want oasis to be the biggest band in the world again, just so it feels a little more like 1996. not that i'm much of an oasis fan.
