most of the country music i like is old, or from the 70s (which is old too, i guess.)

the only 'new' country artists i can tolerate are randy travis and keith urban.

I like Hank Williams Sr. and was surprised to learn he died at the age of 25, of heroin in the backseat of a car.
I havent listend to any of his kin yet expect the "Monday Night Football Song"
I Love love love Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn (Fist City) and of course Dolly.

Also I found a record of Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson and Waylon does a cover of Gold Dust Women.

I tried to listen to Shooter Jennings but I think I have to give it another listen. Although just the name "put the O back in c untry" is great cause "Cuntry" is exactly what Shania, Faith, Carrie Underwood and the like are.

I havent heard of Harry McClintock but I think I would like any song called 'Hallelujah I'm a Bum' Do you know anything about is life or where he's from?
