The resurgence of this thread makes me wonder what I posted then deleted on 28 December 2007... I think it may have been about the time I wept hysterically in a bar when Nothing Compares 2 U came on? Ridiculous, I know, but was having boyf issues at the time and it's such an emotive song.

I don't generally have songs that I *can't* listen to for emotional reasons, but some songs that I love do have a strong attachment in that way - I listened to "If There Is A Chance" by the Cardigans a lot when I broke up with my ex and as a result I actually love it because I connected with is so much.

I also can't listen to coldplay because it brings out the emotion of 'this band just sucks so bad.'
