Also please tell him to dust off his old plaid fedora and hockey mask.... due to much inquiry & popular demand, the New York New Year's show is being officially declared a MASQUERADE EVENT. That's right, you freaks. As if you bastards needed an excuse to dress up. But we're givin' it to ya. Masks, hats, ballgowns, get your total glam on/dork on/transfantasy on and remember that anything goes and that no matter how strange you look, we will love you regardless.
This is probably making the rest of you wonder....what about US here in Toronto/Chicago/Florida? We want an excuse to dress like new years freaks! Well. Damn....go for it. Maybe we can manage to carry the drunken new years spirit through mid-January. Hell, maybe we'll even count down every night. Why not. I'm game. Scrape those damn party hats and blowers off the floor and bring them to the Norva! One problem: We'll be hungover into March. O well, only live once.
We can't wait to hit the road again, we have many an excitement planned.

Earlier this year, I was asked by the kind people at the Matthew Shepard Foundation to share some thoughts and experiences I've had in life, to be included on a section of their web site titled "Matthew's Place". This site will act as a hub for youth-focused organizations to funnel resources and useful information to those who need it most. Matthew’s Place is the cornerstone of the Matthew Shepard Foundation’s youth-focused work and will be interwoven into the programs of the Foundation.
It's always been important for Amanda and I to show our fans that there are resources out there to help young people become informed, feel empowered, and to learn that they are not alone in the struggle to carve their own identity and forge their character.
