out of interest, which gigs are clashing?

my city is so small that i can usually manage both

for example last night i went to three different things!

you should come live in belfast, clearly <3

bands clashing at festivals is the worst thing.
because of it i managed to miss sleater-kinney, and then they broke up a few months afterwards. i'm so depressed about that. so so depressed.

also missed the streets, the magic numbers, the shins, mogwai etc etc. same reason. (imagine if all those bands were on the same bill for a festival!)

the only real clash ive had with bands playing shows in my town is die! die! die! who i've wanted to see forever announcing a show on the same night that i had klaxons tickets for. i went to the klaxons as they were sold out etc etc.

earth and (one of many) enon gigs. and they are not in the same city. unfortunatly.

i swear they do this on purpose at festivals in order to thin the crowds. practice darting from one tent to the next. plan your route in advance. and remember to hydrate yourself properly. if this is at two different venues in the same town, choose the club with the traditionally earlier gig and you might make the second one in time if you're lucky.
