aww, this i admire. how quaint! it amuses me the stuff that finds it's way into public libraries, the first thing i ever rented was loveless when i was about 17, in the tiny town i grew up in.

I used to rent movies from the library too. I hardly get there anymore, though. I can't really find a reason to go there... besides the love I have for real books outweighs video ****: the pages, the covers, the scent of the pulp. Also, intelligent reading: I do miss it now that I think about it.

Reading anything is a fine substitute for touching beautiful books.
