Marianne Faithfull - Vagabond Ways
Wow, I love this record. It's basically just one song that is slightly different each time but it's a lovely song and the lyrics are just great. Emmylou Harris does some beautiful back up vocals.

The final track is a little but the rest is brilliant.

One of my most favourite Marianne records. One of those rare albums I can put on and drift to from begining to end, where each word resonates on an emotional level of experience that I think many artists have lost today.

This is a good one. I like it a lot as well.....if you like this one, you should listen to "A Secret Life". It is sort of the same idea.....IMO.

"Marathon Kiss" is really fantastic, I haven't listened to the album in a while actually. I'll have to put it on later.

Same here. I prefer it to her older stuff because there's no hint of experimentation at all, just pure substance and class. I wish Tower of Song was her own song. Her voice is just so perfect for it... Herself and Roger Waters make a great team too.
