Kurt always overshadowed Courtney, and you have to admit, he's the biggest role in most people hating Courtney. There was no focus on Hole as a band too much at all - And if there was, it was on how Kurt had supposedly written all the songs.
And he didn't. He wrote Old Age - And I've seen quotes from way before that got out that Courtney admitted someone gave it to her and how she seized the oppurtunity. Who cares?
But it does seem like most people started taking Hole more seriously during CS era, Post- Kurt - But that also has to do with stability, I suppose.
Pretty on the Inside was a good start, it's a great CD - And of course Live Through This is too. If you don't believe Courtney, believe Eric that they wrote Live Through This. Hole deserves credit, and they would have gotten it otherwise.
Celebrity Skin is also a classic as far as I'm concerned, as well. Spectacular, actually.
But there was never enough focus on Hole .... What do you guys think?

No, if it wasn't for kurt hole would have fallen into the same obscurity as her other female grunge-era contemporaries.

I think they would have been more popular if Courtney cared more about her music than publicly acting like an ass.

...or, as your name suggests, publically waxing her ass.

we'll never know, the thing is that lots of people hate Courtney because she "killed" Kurt Cobain, whatever that means and I guess it prejudices them against her music.

Also, Hole was Courtney Love.
