That's how I felt when I first got one. I travel virtually everywhere by walking or taking the subway, so anything I need to have with me I have to carry. It was amazing not to be stuck with a just a single cd.

it's nice to have a great soundtrack when doing the mundane, going to the mall, buying clothes for the kids, grocery shopping...
power walking to prince. uphill.
i just got a Zune on sunday. it's microsoft's ipod. it's pretty cute, but i'm still getting used to this "syncing" stuff. i wish it were just drag and drop. it's my first mp3 player, so i'm amazed at the convenience of having so much music that i can carry around at will..
I have the largest gig one and it's too clunky and I have dropped it while working out. I have been thinking of getting one of the smallest ones - the shuffle I think, becuase you can clip it on your shirt. Then I could just put work out music on it. And I wouldn't have to worry about ruining the screen, which I sort of have due to not buying a proper protector. And the skin I bought doesn't have an opening large enough to accomodate the adaptor for the car. How odd is that?
the clips can sometimes slip or pop off...I have lost mine in my cleavage on the train before...a bit embarassing.
