| | | Song Calendar #2 A long time ago we tried to make a song calendar (I never spell that properly...) and I'm very sad that it's gone...
What it was was as many songs as we could find that mantion a specific date in them. I think it'dbe cool if we could get one for every day of the year. If we can only get, say 100, everyone needs to write and record their own song mentioning a previously unmentioned-in-song date.
My first contribution:
1 May: "On the first day of May I took to the road" - Nick Cave - Hallelujah

| | | i'm ashamed that i know this, but Mariah Carey has a song called 4th of July.
Slightly more respectably, I can offer up November 22nd 1963 from "Run Baby Run" by Sheryl Crow. |

| | | i said this in the old thread, but i did a thread once for years and it was hard enough finding enough songs covering years let alone specific days.
