New Liz Phair Single / Ralph Lauren

Capitol has chosen "Count On My Love" to be Liz Phair's 2nd single off her 5th album "Somebody's Miracle". It has been 8 months since they released the unsuccessful "Everything To Me". But "Count On My Love" is the new theme for Ralph Lauren's "Ralph HOT". An acoustic version of COML along with an acoustic version of Somebody's Miracle is available on ralphhot.com

Are you sure this is confirmed? I know the Ralph Lauren part is accurate, but the last I heard, "Count on My Love" being released as a single was only a rumour.

People have been saying for months that it would be the next single; at one point, someone posted on her message board that it would be going for adds on March 25. It's nearly two months later and the song still hasn't went for adds at radio, and there's been no official confirmation it's even being released at all.

I honestly don't think there will be a second single from Somebody's Miracle. Even if there is, I would hope that they wouldn't release "Count on My Love" -- it's by far my least favourite song on the record.

it seems a little late at this point to release another single...but mayber her label people think having this campaign with ralph lauren just might be enough to jumpstart the record...i doubt it though

hmm.
chances of me ever seeing a video for another liz phair single played on tv = absolutely NONE.
actually the only ones i've ever seen were supernova and polyester bride. i seriously curse the people of this country and their bad taste in music.

How could you possibly have missed 'Why Can't I?' I don't think a day went by that I didn't see it...

Hardcore Liz fans may snub this, but 'Lost Tonight' was always my choice for even the 1st single. It's too catchy to go unnoticed.

I agree with holeboy. Why release another single now?

i could understand it if it was for the scandinavian market (LOL), somebodys miracle wasnt released here until march 13th ... and that is even a huge stretch of imagination.

i dont think this album had a chance to begin with, its just not very good.

they missed their chance putting the song in a silly, teen romantic comedy.
i would have wanted them to release "everything (between us)" as a single. but the last track from the lp is actually better and not as cheesetastic as "count on my love". it is too late to release anything though.
